Who should apply?
Entrepreneurs with ongoing businesses and developing projects in the IT/Internet/Technology areas who are in search of more than EUR 250,000 for expansion capital.
Together with GECAD Group, we are launching a new funding opportunity for startups in the fields of software, web, technology and ecommerce. The seed investment grated through VentureConnect starts with EUR 50.000 for each session.

Eligibility Rules
This autumn, VentureConnect announces two local meetings: in Cluj-Napoca on 12th of October and in Timisoara on 19th of October. The two VentureConnect local editions are a selection for the final competition in Bucharest, on 23rd November.

11 projects present for the final VentureConnect meeting
On 23rd of November, we organized the final VentureConnect meeting for this autumn. Eleven projects from Romania, but also from Croatia and Great Britain, attended VentureConnect to pitch their businesses in front of the VentureConnect board and the investors present in the room. After two local sessions in Cluj and Timisoara, VentureConnect culminated with the final meeting in Bucharest. VentureConnect announces an active mentoring program to prepare the participants for the final VentureConnect meeting in Bucharest. Thus, all those present at this edition will participate in a 2 days training session: the first devoted to the presentation structure – supported by Dragos Roua, and the second designed to improve public speaking skills – led by Lucian Mindruta. VentureConnect: Projects may be submitted until November 15
VentureConnect announces that the submission deadline has been extended until 15 November. Startups that requires an investment of more than EUR 50.000 may send the entry form by the end of the day on Tuesday (November 15) and the projects chosen for the final meeting in Bucharest will be announced on 16 November.
