Black Sea Trade and Investment Promotion Programme
The Black Sea Trade and Investment Promotion Programme (BSTIP) is a joint project financed by Turkey, Greece, the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) organization and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) aiming to promote trade and investment in the Black Sea region. Active since 2008, this initiative implemented by UNDP is headquartered in Athens, Greece and is active in the twelve BSEC countries – Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.
BSTIP works on key sectors and cover ICT and business services; food and agricultural products/wine; tourism; construction materials; logistics and transport and green energy/business. BSTIP is endorsing the VentureConnect initiative – 28 May 2013 – by promoting this regional initiative in the entire Black Sea region through its business support organizations and networks.
