  • Venture Mentoring on legal issues

VentureConnect, the program dedicated to IT entrepreneurs, and online technology, announces the second meeting of the Venture Mentoring program. Each month, a VentureConnect mentor meets entrepreneurs who need answers and solutions to the business problems that they encounter. Ana Maria Andronic, Senior Associate at the Biris Goran law firm, will participate in the Venture Mentoring series meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 25, starting at 15.00.

Ana Maria Andronic, Senior Associate Biris Goran and founding member of the VentureConnect Foundation will hold the second meeting of Venture Mentoring program on April 25. Developed by the VentureConnect Foundation, the program supports the continuous development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem by identifying specific and customized solutions to business problems identified by participants.

Ana Maria Andronic is a specialist in intellectual property rights, with over thirteen years experience in the legal field, starting her career as a judge. She stands out among her peers due to her unique blend of continental and US legal experience: after serving as a judge in Romania, she was recruited by the American Bar Association (ABA/CEELI) branch office in Bucharest, then earned an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Internet Law in the US, and was recently admitted to practice in the state of New York.

“I look forward to the next Venture Mentoring meeting as I want to assist entrepreneurs in finding the right legal solutions to their queries, and if their uncertainties are not in my field of specialty, to make sure that they receive the information they were looking for. I think that every VentureConnect board member is recognized for their experience and specialty, be it IT & C, software, e-commerce or law, Venture Mentoring being thus a direct source of information for those who are participating “, says Ana Maria Andronic.

The meeting aims to debate the legal issues faced by businesses in the IT&C environment, including: business structure and preparing it for an investment, product or service security with intellectual property rights, registered trademark or a patent product.

The meeting takes place on April 25, starting at 15.00 p.m., registrations being conducted here: http://www.ventureconnect.ro/events/venture-mentoring/
